Colonial Beach Yacht Center is located on the Potomac River at the mouth of Monroe Bay, which is renowned for its protected harbor, deep water, easy access and beautiful sunsets.​  We are approximately 40 st. miles from Point Lookout and 57 st. miles from Washington, D.C.  Just minutes from Downtown Colonial Beach, and a quick cab to major tourist attractions, Colonial Beach Yacht Center is a must stop for your summer cruising. 

Gas dock

We are proud to announce that CBYC is one of the few marinas the Potomac offering NON-Ethanol gasoline.  We also have diesel fuel available. The fuel dock and pump out station occupy the inside of the peninsula to the starboard side as you enter the channel.

For the 2020 season, our marina will only be operating from Friday through Sunday. Reservations cannot be made for Monday through Thursday nights. We appreciate your understanding.

Transportation Services

Walking/Biking

Walking or biking into town is easy and beautiful on a nice day.  It is approx. 1.5 miles (or 20 minutes walking) to reach the downtown section and town Boardwalk.  For services such as groceries or laundry we recommend either of the two local cab services, $6.00 to go anywhere in town.
 

​Golf Cart Rentals

Colonial Beach is known as "Golf Cart Town!"

You may reserve one in advance by calling Dustin at (804) 761-1594 (There is a reasonable fee.)

Town Trolley

​The Colonial Beach Trolley runs from May through September and makes about 20 stops along it's route. Costs 25 cents!   What a great way to get around town.  (804) 224-0175

Taxi Cabs

​Taxis are available and we are happy to make arrangements for you! All rides within the town are $5 each way. Rides out of town to major tourist attractions are $2/mile.
