Westmoreland Berry Farm

Pick your own berries! At this famous berry farm, you can pick your own fruit or buy it ready-picked from their Country  Store. This is a great activity for families - parents can sit, relax and enjoy the view while the kids enjoy themselves in the adjacent play areas. Animal lovers must plan a trip to meet their playful, energetic and loving goats! 

Ingleside Winery

As one of Virginia’s oldest and largest wineries, Ingleside Winery has been welcoming visitors for over 30 years. Colonial Beach and Boardwalk

Spend the day lounging in the sun (with sunscreen, of course!) and playing in the river. When you're done on the beach, stroll down the boardwalk to check out the fun specialty shops, restaurants and more. You can even rent a golf cart to cruise around town - what's more fun than that?

George Washington's Birthplace

A visit to George Washinton's Birthplace is sure to be a fun outing for all! Experience ranger talks, and walk through a living Colonial farm, featuring livestock and tobacco. Enjoy special events with costumed interpreters and special demonstrations. There are also picnic area with tables, grills, pavilion and restrooms - and a two mile loop Nature Trail that guests can access from the park. The Potomac River beach offers view of the river and Maryland, walking, sunbathing, and fishing.

Stratford Hall

Home of the Lees of Virginia! Stratford Hall, which occupies around 1900 acres along the Potomac River, is still farmed and has a public dining room, gift shop, research library, and visitor center. The Hall offers guided tours of the original eighteenth-century Great House, and visitors can hike their nature trails, walk through the restored gardens, see museum exhibits, and view the cliffs from our overlook high above the Potomac. 

James Monroe Birthplace

Visit his birthplace and learn about James Monroe and the principles of just government and righteousness exemplified in his life and in his work.  The James Monroe dedicates itself to strengthening the adherence of all Americans to the views expressed by him in the ‘Monroe Doctrine’ and other documents.

Colonial Beach Dragway

Rev up your engines and head to the Colonial Beach Dragway! Races are held frequently throughout the summer. Have a muscle car? You can race too!
